Background –

Effective January 1st, 2023, the District of Chetwynd will no longer be handling waste disposal for commercial businesses within the District. Instead, all businesses are encouraged to connect with local disposal services directly to arrange an ongoing service agreement. GFL Account Manager Sarah Miller has vision that working together proactively to set up accounts will result in a smooth transition.

As an incentive to businesses who sign up early, GFL will be entered into a draw for five $100 fuel gift cards. The deadline for the draw will be December 15th, 2022 with the draw being held on December 16th, 2022. As Sarah points out, “The sooner we can get businesses signed up, the smoother the transition will be so we encourage all businesses to get in contact with us as soon as possible.”
