Snowfall Warning in Effect for Pine Pass
Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected in the Williston region including Mackenzie, Pine Pass Highway 97 and McGregor region starting this afternoon until Saturday afternoon with rapidly accumulating snow and reduced visibilities.
A frontal system will give snowfall accumulations 10 to 20 cm as it moves through the region. Snowfall will ease tomorrow afternoon following the passage of the front. Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Road conditions are available at www.drivebc.ca.
